ikshu (on a day we forgot to pack a water bottle): i was thirsty for 8 hrs!
me: u could have shared the water from someone?
ikshu: but we have to be same blood group, right?

j & me: huh????

me giving last min crash course to ikshu for hindi test - write घर - ikshu writes गर
me: no no not this ga, second gha ikshu: which second gha? oh the घर waala घ!!

me: (on the way back from sunday breakfast out) i am going to mom's, where do u guys want to get dropped?
j: anywhere is fine, ikshu and i can go home from pretty much anywhere ;-), right ikshu?
ikshu: anywhere except another food place, i am so full!!

me: do u want toast and jam for snacks?
ikshu: no
me: what else do you want?
ikshu (finishing off his bowl of cereals): i don't know, i can't think well when i am full!

at my nephews wedding just after thaali ikshu says "what now they are going to kiss each other"? could that day be far away?

ikshu and yashu discussed and arrived at why you cannot drink and drive.

if you drink while you drive the (water) bottle will hide the view of the driver and hence it is not safe...

ikshu, my conscience

i had been telling myself i need to move my butt and do some dancing at home everyday and was not really getting around to it. and today out of the blue ikshu says, mama u can have the dance class at home - (even if u r not having it otherwise)... i didn't know he even gave a thought to my dance - coz he always complained (i guess, mouthed) about my spending time away, at class.

that day is here (actually was here, y'day)

mama, i wish we can have another baby born from your tummy... it came completely out of the blue as i walked him to the school bus, coz he doesn't like if i pick up other kids. he has always looked worried on the few rare occassions that i did. but that i guess is a natural reaction. and i am hoping this is a passing phase - a quick one.

jayesh and ikshu on the phone: ikshu and i are working out a deal - some treat if he finishes lunch everyday

he said how about a chocolate when he comes back from school, if he had finished his lunch.

me:one chocolate everyday?

j: i had the exact same question and ikshu do u want to repeat the answer?

ik: i won't be getting a chocolate everyday, right? (coz i won't be finishing lunch everyday!)

y'day someone was pulling ikshu's leg on something saying you only know to count upto 100 how will u do (something which needed to count beyond hundred - i think it was pay some money or something - don't remember what)

so i was waiting for him to say - no i can count beyond 100 and...

he instead says - i will count upto 100 - u count the rest!!
